Write for the customer’s question
A focused page can help a reader understand suitability, compare options or prepare an enquiry. Lead with the answer, explain its limits and cite primary sources. The value comes from helping that decision, even when search results show an ordinary link.
Keep the dates in view
Advice about FAQ search features changes. Google’s current documentation updates record that the FAQ rich result stopped appearing from 7 May 2026, followed by removal of the feature documentation. Older advice about restricted eligibility is therefore not a current promise of availability.
Use the appropriate vocabulary
FAQPage describes publisher-authored questions and answers. It should not pretend a user community contributed multiple answers when that did not happen. In this library, the marked-up question and answer are visible on the page. The markup is semantic description, not a claim to a special Google result. Review both source dates and page accuracy when maintaining the content.
